5 ways to save on college decor at Target!

Leaving home to go to college is one of the hardest times in a young adults life, but its also an extremely exciting time! Your dorm should feel like an extension of your home, but decorating it can add up fast. Here are some tips to save at Target while making your dorm feel cozy and keep you from feeling homesick.

1.Check the markdown sections Target is always stocking their store with new inventory so you will always be able to find amazing deals. Although if you know you are leaving for college ahead of time make sure to look around after the holidays, they have the best markdowns during this time.

2.Use coupons Coupons are always a great way to save and thanks to the internet they are easy to find ! * You can use websites like Coupons.com. * Target has an app filled with coupons (PLUS ITS FREE.) * If you have receipts from Target you can check if they added any coupons in them.

3.Make a registry at Target Another great idea is to make a registry that way any friends or family members that want to give you a going away gift can easily find what you actually need/want. The best part is Target will give you 15% off the items no one gave you after the day of your event!

4.Select the store brands Its easy to buy the first thing you see but if you look around for the store brand version of the item it can save you a lot of money!

5. Apply for the REDcard If you shop at Target a lot it might be worth it to look into their debit or credit card programs it can save you 5% every time you shop. This is a great idea if you are responsible and if the college you're attending is close to a Target.
